We’re Lindsay and AJ, creators of Timberglow Getaway! We are travelers at heart who swapped life on the road for our biggest adventure yet: turning a slice of Michigan wilderness into something magical and helping it glow again.

Over the past 15 years together, we’ve chased all kinds of adventures from campervan road trips and saying “I do” at a campground, to a honeymoon in Iceland where we fell in love with the cozy, communal campgrounds sprinkled around the island. That’s where our dream really took root and we decided we wanted to create a place that blends nature, comfort, and connection.

Curious, we set out to learn the ins and outs of owning a campground. We converted a school bus, sold our house, and hit the road full time. For over three years, campgrounds around the country became our home, and along the way, we picked up all the little details that turn a stay into something truly memorable.

Eventually we found it: our own charming, scrappy little campground in Twining, Michigan with just the right amount of wild, rustic magic. With a little love, a lot of vision, and a ton of help from some great people, Timberglow Getaway is currently in the works.
